Semaglutide side effects and what you can do to relieve your symptoms.

In clinical studies, Nausea was the most common side effect documented by patients taking Semaglutide. It is most common with the first shot of the first dose and the symptom alleviating medication should only be taken the day first two days of the shot. In most cases this was temporary and mild.

For patients who experience, Nausea, Diarrhea, Heartburn, Gas and Burping, take one of the following medications below:

Nausea

 

  1. Link - Vitamin B6
  2. Link - Dramamine

 

 

Diarrhea

For patients who experience diarrhea we recommend one of the two:

  1. Link - Minute Rice
  2. Link - Imodium A-D

 

Heartburn

  1. Link - Prilosec
  2. Link - Zantac

 

Take in the Am on the day of injection to prevent heartburn caused by Semaglutide.

 

Gas and burping

  1. Gas-X
  2. Eat Slower

 

Please note, depending on which pharmacy you have, you may receive a 50 unit syringe or 100 unit syringe. We have placed an example below of where the 5 unit mark is on both syringe sizes:
